Airport Interviews
We have a little down time before we depart for our oversea flight. Adam Keiswetter suggested that we conduct some short interviews with some of the guys going on the trip.
What are you looking forward to most on the trip?
Drew Etherton - Lincoln, NE - Mostly the Turkish Discos. I really want to see what their night culture is like.
TJ Hepburn - East Hampton, CT - Wrestling guys outside of our country... and beating them in their own style. And the food.
Ross Brunkhardt - Merino, CO - Site seeing, and hopefully the Eiffel Tower, if we go there.
Joe Ellenberger - Omaha, NE - Paris, just being in Paris, France I guess. I am looking forward to seeing the Mediterranean Sea as well.
Ty Swarm - Mitchell, NE - I am looking forward to seeing Turkey. We were in Bulgaria in 2003. I am excited to see Bulgaria for the second time with a new group of wrestlers. These trips always provide some humorous and memorable experiences.
Raufeon Stots - Houston, TX - European women.
Adam Keiswetter - Longmont, CO - I am looking forward to taking lots of pictures.
How do you think you will fair against the Bulgarian and Turkish competition?
Dalton Jensen - Missouri Valley, IA - I think my headlocks and cradles will have a high success rate.
Ross Brunkhardt - Merino, CO - Terrible.
Joe Ellenberger - Omaha, NE - I think I'll do all right. My main focus is on not getting hurt. Me and Keiswetter are going to have to go against their old guys. If someone hurts me I am going to choke them out.
Ty Swarm - Mitchell, NE - I plan not to wrestle in any aspect, however, the dual atmosphere in Bulgaria was much more exciting and competitive than our Germany trip. I am excited to see how we will compete against some international level competition.
Raufeon Stots - Houston, TX - I'm going to beat them up in their front yard.
Gabe Re - Denver, CO - I have one prediction.... Pain.
Adam Keiswetter - Longmont, CO - I will either pin them in a Twister in 15 seconds or lose the match 1-0, 1-0.
