Tervel Dlagnev and Clarissa Chun to go ‘On the Mat’
2008 World champion Clarissa Chun and 2009 World bronze medalist Tervel Dlagnev will be radio show guests this week.
“On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum and can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Central time on AM 1650, The Fan. Chun won the World Team Trials championship in the women’s freestyle division at 105.5 pounds in June in Oklahoma City and will represent the United States at the World Championships next month in Istanbul, Turkey. She won the World title in 2008 and placed 5th in the Olympics that year.
Dlagnev also won the World Team Trials at 264 pounds in the men’s freestyle division. He won a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2009 and was a two-time NCAA Division II champion for University of Nebraska-Kearney.

This year, we will begin the 1st Annual Loper Wrestling Booster Club Benefit. This year's benefit will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Kearney Holiday Inn Convention Center. As we continue to establish and develop the booster club into a vital part of our program, we need the support of ALL former alumni, friends, and families of the Loper wrestling program.

2011 Loper Wrestling Europe Trip
Check back soon for updates on the 2011 Loper Wrestling Europe Trip. Blog entries and photo galleries will start to be posted on Friday, May 27th, 2011.
"Our primary goal of this experience is to gain valuable knowledge of foreign training and competition, cultural appreciation, wrestling tradition within other cultures, team building through a tremendous life-experience, and deepen our friendships with one another and commitment to the Loper wrestling program," said head coach Marc Bauer.
The Lopers have made several trips like this in previous summers.
"This is one of the most valuable experiences and opportunities that the Loper wrestling program helps obtain for its student-athletes. I want to thank everyone for their support in helping each of these individuals achieve this opportunity," added Bauer.
2011 DII NCAA Championship Tickets

As we begin looking forward to hosting the NCAA DII National Wrestling Championships we want to do our best to make our presence felt as the “home team” and to help secure good seats for our families, friends, and fans.
In order to comply with NCAA regulations and ensure that we get the best seats possible as a group, we will need to order our tickets all at the same time and as early as possible.
